Voilà les traductions en français et anglais de mon nouvel article publié sur le site du ELLE Ukraine et dédié aux adresses Chic ou Cool à Rome, Venise, Milan et Florence. 2 façons de voyager pour coller au plus près de tous les porte-monnaie.

L’un des grands avantages de l’Italie pour les vacances, c’est que toutes les formules sont possibles. Se réveiller dans un palace du grand Canal à Venise et prendre son petit déjeuner sur un bateau Riva comme prendre ses quartiers dans une petite pension à Rome et descendre avaler son café dans le bar sympa juste en bas.

Les vacances arrivent, les grandes, les longues, les vraies ! Celles où l’envie d’évasion et d’aventure est plus forte que tout. Que vous aimiez vous rouler dans le luxe ou que vous voyagiez plus décontracté, bref Chic ou Cool, voici quelques idées qui contenteront (j’espère!) tous les porte-monnaie.

VENISE

Séjourner : CHIC / L’hôtel Aman est démentiel et propose une déco d’origine mêlée à des teintes claires et modernes. Evidemment il donne sur le grand canal. COOL/louer un appartement à côté du Rialto avec Venice Actually.

Manger : CHIC / L’antiche Carampane est une institution et j’adore le petit cornet de friture offert en arrivant. COOL / Régalez-vous de poisson frais dans les bars à Chichetti (le tapas vénitien) comme chez ProntoPesce.

Boire : CHIC / Un spritz au Harry’s Bar bien évidemment. COOL / boire la bière locale Morgana dans les bars au bord des canaux dans le quartier de Cannareggio (Fondamenta Ormesini).

Shopping : CHIC / best-of fashion chez Al Duca D’aosta piazza san Marco. COOL / OhMyBlue, un petit concept store stylé campo san tomà qui propose des bijoux à partir de 30 euros.

A faire : CHIC / le Spa Casanova au milieu du jardin des roses de l’hôtel Cipriani. COOL / Levez-vous tôt et sentez-vous privilégié en admirant seul les peintures du Tintoret dans la Scuola Grande di San Rocco.

MILAN

Séjourner : CHIC / J’adore le Sheraton Diana Majestic et le petit déjeuner dans le jardin. COOL / Starhotel Echo ou Hotel Maison Borella à partir de 130 euros la chambre (attention, avec l’Expo les tarifs explosent !).

Manger : CHIC / voir et être vu au Nobu, le restaurant japonais d’Armani. COOL / déjeunez de délicieux « rouleaux de printemps » frits à l’italienne chez Panzerotti Luini. Le soir, régalez vous d’un risotto au safran à la trattoria milanese via sant’Orsola.

Boire : CHIC / un cocktail dans le jardin de l’hôtel Bulgari. COOL / tous les petits bars des Navigli.

Shopping : CHIC / le concept store Wait and See. COOL / une robe blanche en dentelle chez Simona Barbieri Twin Set.

A faire : CHIC / Visitez la toute nouvelle Fondation Prada et prenez un verre au bar Luce. COOL / Montez tout en haut du Duomo et profitez de la vue sur la sublime Galerie!

FLORENCE

Séjourner : CHIC / Le Leone Blu, nouvel hôtel sublime de la famille Ricasoli et sa vue sur l’Arno. COOL / un bed and breakfast dans le quartier de l’Oltrarno comme La San Frediano Mansion et ses très grandes chambres pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 5 personnes.

Manger : CHIC / Caffè dell’oro avec vue sur le ponte vecchio. Le soir, réservez au restaurant Cibreo dans le quartier de Sant’Ambrogio. COOL / Le street food vous tend les bras ! Lampredotto acheté au marché central ou bien panini à la Finnochiona chez Ino à côté des Offices. Le soir, ce sera menu complet pour un budget dérisoire chez Il Contadino via palazzuolo.

Boire : CHIC / Un toproof sinon rien! Réservez sur la terrasse jardin de l’hôtel Baglioni à Santa Maria Novella. COOL / à la fraîche dans le jardin du Rifrullo à San Niccolò.

Shopping : CHIC / Impossible de passer à côté du Concept Store Luisa Via Roma et de la via tornabuoni. COOL / Boutique Nadine via dei Benci avec du vintage et des créations sympas.

A faire : CHIC / Louez une voiture avec chauffeur pour découvrir les caves à vin du Chianti et les villages (contactez le service de Conciergerie pour réserver!). COOL / se balader à pieds tôt le matin Oltrarno, avoir les rues fraiches rien que pour soi.

ROME

Séjourner : CHIC / L’hôtel Portrait designé par le florentin superstar Michele Bonan que j’avais eu la chance d’interviewer. COOL / le Bed and Breakfast bestbb.it propose des chambres modernes dans 3 quartiers de Rome. A partir de 120 euros.

Manger : CHIC / Découvrez les somptueux jardins de l’hôtel de Russie à quelques mètres de la piazza di spagna. La carte est signée par le chef italien et génie Fulvio Pierangelini. COOL / testez les meilleurs pasta cacio pepe de votre vie chez Maccheroni piazza delle Coppelle.

Boire : CHIC / la terrasse de l’hôtel Raphael offre un point de vue idéal pour admirer le soleil se couchait sur les toits. COOL / un cocktail chez Grazia & Graziella dans Trastevere.

Shopping : CHIC / Gente via del babuino et globalement tous les sublimes magasins de cette rue. COOL / Vives les vintages ! Via del governo vecchio mais également dans le quartier de Monti via dei serpenti avec la boutique Pifebo.

A faire : CHIC / un brunch à l’hotel JK Place. COOL / une balade dans le jardin botanique du côté de trastevere, bien souvent oublié des touristes (Merci Anne-Sophie pour le tuyau !).

Whether you like to roll yourself in luxury or travel in a laidback way, Chic or Cool, here some ideas that will satisfy every size of wallet!

VENICE

Where to stay: CHIC / Aman hotel is just insane, mixing traditional palace decor and modern shades. Unmistakably it overlooks the Grand Canal. COOL / Rent an apartment next to the Rialto on Venice Actually website.

Eat: CHIC / The Antiche Carampane is an institution and I love the fried-fish cone offered as an appetizer. COOL / Treat yourself with fresh fish in Chichetti bars such as ProntoPesce in Rialto neighbourhood.

Drink: CHIC / A spritz at Harry’s Bar of course. COOL / drink the local beer Morgana in in the district of Cannaregio (along the canal, Fondamenta Ormesini).

Shop : CHIC / Best of fashion at Al Duca d’Aosta Piazza san Marco. COOL / OhMyBlue, a small stylish concept store Campo San Toma, with jewellery starting from 30 euros.

To do: CHIC / Spa Casanova in the roses garden of Hotel Cipriani. COOL / Get up early (tourists are often lazy!) and feel privileged admiring alone the paintings by Tintoretto at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco.

MILAN

Where to stay : CHIC / I love the Sheraton Diana Majestic, having breakfast in the garden. COOL / Starhotel Echo or Hotel Maison Borella, from 130 euros per room (with the Expo, prices are just exploding!).

Eat : CHIC / See and be seen at Nobu , the Japanese restaurant of Armani . COOL / Have lunch with a delicious panzerotto at Luini’s. For dinner, a classic and unmissable saffron risotto in trattoria Milanese, via Sant’Orsola.

Drink: CHIC / cocktails in the garden of the hotel Bulgari. COOL / Pick any cute bar on the Navigli.

Shop : CHIC / Wait and See concept-store. COOL / white lace dress at Simona Barbieri’s Twin Set.

To do: CHIC / visit the new Prada Foundation and have a drink at Luce bar. COOL / Enjoy the view from the Duomo’s roof.

FLORENCE

Where to stay : CHIC / Leone Blu, sublime new hotel of the Ricasoli family, with a view on the Arno river. COOL / San Frediano Mansion with large rooms up to 5 people, a bed and breakfast perfect for families in the district of Oltrarno.

Eat : CHIC / Caffè dell’Oro, with a view on the Ponte Vecchio. For dinner, book Cibreo restaurant in Sant’Ambrogio. COOL / Florentine street food is amazing! Lampredotto panino at Mercato Centrale or Finnochiona at Ino, close to the Uffizi. At night , really small budget will find its eldorado at Il Contadino, via Palazzuolo.

Drink: CHIC / A Toproof or nothing! Discover the roof garden of Baglioni Hotel in Santa Maria Novella. COOL / Enjoy an aperitivo at Rifrullo’s garden, in San Niccolò.

Shop : CHIC / You cannot miss the Concept Store Luisa Via Roma and stroll in Via Tornabuoni . COOL / Boutique Nadine, via dei Benci, with vintage and emergent designers.

To do: CHIC / Rent a car with a driver and and discover famous wine cellars in Chianti. COOL /walk early morning in Oltrarno, having the streets just for you.

ROME

Where to stay : CHIC / Portrait, the hotel designed by the Florentine superstar Michele Bonan who I’d had the chance to interview. COOL / bestbb.it the Bed and Breakfast offers modern rooms in 3 areas of Rome starting at 120 euros.

Eat: CHIC / Discover the magnificent gardens of the Hotel de Russie, a few meters from Piazza di Spagna. The menu was envisioned by the Italian chef and kitchen genius Fulvio Pierangelini. COOL / Taste cacio pepe pasta (the best you’ll ever have) at Maccheroni, Piazza delle Coppelle.

Drink: CHIC / the terrace of the Raphael hotel offers an ideal position to watch the sunset from a rooftops. COOL / cocktails in Grazia & Graziella in Trastevere.

Shop: CHIC / Gente, via del Babuino … and all the sublime shops in this street. COOL / We want vintage! Via del Governo Vecchio, but also stroll in the Monti area, starting from via dei serpenti’s Pifebo shop.
